Wastewater Interconnect Project
From South to Central Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plants
The City of Fort Myers project will replace underground sewer mains connecting to the Central Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant. In addition to replacing the existing pipes, the project will resurface the roadway and replace existing sidewalk where disturbed by pipe replacement.
Part I of the project replaces underground pipes along Raleigh Street, across Michigan Avenue to Indian Street where the installation will turn to the west and continue to Palm Avenue and to just south of Lime Street. Part I of the project is anticipated to be completed in early 2018.
Part II of the project replaces underground pipes along Palm Avenue from Michigan Avenue south to Canal Street. Part II of the project is anticipated to be completed in early 2019.
